Do I need to make an appointment to see a Notary?

Yes. Please call us on 02 9283 8588 to make an appointment. You also can email us for an appointment: secretary@legalpointlawyers.com.au.

What shall I bring to see a Notary?

In addition to the documents need to be notarised, you also need to bring your current and valid passport and your driver licence or other photo ID.

Do you charge fixed fee for your service?

Yes. In most circumstances, we charge fixed fees for our service. But until our Notary sees the document/s and matter in hand, it is not possible to quote accurately over the phone.

Do I need to understand the document I am signing when seeing a Notary?

Yes. The Notary must be satisfied that you understand what you are doing. If not, you are required to get legal advice first.

Will you visit our home/office for Notary services?

Generally we do not offer Notary services outside our offices. The fees incurred travelling are usually significantly larger than the cost of the Notary service; however, we may be able to travel to you under circumstances, please call our office directly to enquire about any special requests.

Do you provide other services other than Notary services?

Yes. Since a Notary must be a solicitor with current practising certificate, we also provide legal services in different areas. For more information, please visit www.legalpointlawyers.com.au or contact us.
